It was certainly some close racing, and as Fender said, very clean. Especially that first race where I think the whole room ended up with no damage apart from a bit of paint swapped between myself and Pete. I think the other competitors may have got fed up with the constant "On your left", "On your right" etc.

in fact, I could hardly get rid of Pete the whole meeting. The first race we were nose to tail for the first 6 laps while Fender and Fluff ran away and hid. Second race, Pete got away in the lead and I was able to squeeze past Fluff (who by then was in a Spiny-Fender sandwich - see Pete's first photo). Then came the aforementioned 17 laps where the gap never got above 25 metres, and I never made a move stick apart from one on lap 6, which was promptly followed by me outbraking myself and letting Pete back in. Meanwhile, it sounded like Fluff in his battered Clio and Shery were having a bit of a battle for 5th too.
As for how we survived the racing, I think the bottom 3 pictures tell the story. Basically, both of us left the other driver at least a car width to fit in and with such equal cars we could take simialr lines without crossing.
