Midnight Madness signups!
« on: September 19, 2008, 10:10:45 AM »
A separate thread was requested, so here it is.  Try to give an idea of which cars you'll be running.  Also, if you can, throw a gumball and a number on your cars.  It doesn't have to be the same number for all, and you don't have to "call" a number.  Basically, just do something to make it look neat when we take pics.  Just to review, the plan is (after a few warmup races) 25 laps of Silverstone, because the videos of Silverstone looked neat.  If it starts to look like it would run late, I'm open to other possibilities for the track and/or length.

1.  Fndrbndr (CSL, possibly 911, maybe an M-Inc. car just for curiosity)
2.  Bimmer (Bimmer, of all things.  didn't see that coming)
3.  Hoplee (Bitchin Camaro, 911, critique of typing skills (see other thread))
4.  BBQ Pete (Stang and CSL)

I should be able to take part until 11.  CSL, possibly 911/Camaro/Stang
It is highly likely that the above post was produced with a drippy jowl.

I might still be on late... I got a Batmobile and a Shelby lined up... also my B class mini if you really wanna re-create those old races of Camaro's vs Mini's (even though they aren't the old ones... Shame, I'd love those to be in the game)
Extra smokey.... now with no assists!

LMAO! Fndr, I only mentioned it because I used to have to go to the Honors Colloquiums during freshman year at FSU. (and because you're potentially an educator... heehee)

Awesome racing in the challenge cars last night! We had a full room of old friends from 6pm to about 11:30pm EST, when I passed out. We saw great times from a number of drivers and I think nearly everyone improved their personal bests. After some people who weren't running the challenge joined, we experimented with B-Class, RWD, 300-400hp room restrictions and had an absolute ball.

Thanks to everyone who participated!
