You weren't the only one who stiffened the rears Fender - although I only put in about 5lbs taking them up to 275lbs.

As for the grid, Pete can correct me if I misunderstood this, but the first (10 lap) race is to have a random grid. For the second race, the grid will be set to reverse lobby points to simulate the reversed front of the grids in the real thing.

Glad you enjoyed it guys, that what these cars are all about... First race next week is at Maple Valley Short (Brands Hatch Indy) and all of the other race dates and tracks can be found in the Race Calander thread...

As Spiny said we will be using the random grid for the first 10 lap sprint race and then reverse finishing order (lobby points) for the second 25 lap feature race...

I've actually got 4 different setups for this car at the moment, I may use all of them during the season or I may just go for one or 2 depending on track... all of them are actually softer sprung than standard with varying weight bias and camber...

Has the fact that you can't adjust the damping affected anyone's tuning of the springs? Have you tried to match the balance of the damping in having front springs stiffer than rear or have you lowered / raised the spring rates regardless of the fixed damping?

I've tried matching and ignoring the fixed damper settings in my spring tuning. The dampers are fixed roughly 50% softer at the back but I only have one setup that mirrors this front / rear balance all the others use near a 50 / 50 spring setup and I prefer these setups at most tracks, theres only one track where the stiffer front spring setup seems to work better...

No. I pretty much liked how it handled out of the box, so saw no reason to really mess around with the springs. Until we ran Tsukuba s the warm-up that was, when I found some hitherto hidden understeer on turn-in. I only added an extra 5lbs to the springs before the 'Ring qualy, but it seemed to help a bit.
