OK, here's my idea. We sticky a thread at the top of this board (it will grow to more than one page eventually). There, we include links to Snyder's Legends series thread and all of the various specs we have here. Right now, we have:
LMMS-Drift's late model muscle car series. This includes the modern generation mustangs, challenger concept, etc etc etc. It's basically A850, racing slicks, 3k lbs or more, and under 600 hp.
ALS-Dirt's spec. A850, Racing slicks, 3k lbs, and under 500hp, based on the Trans Am series.
Supercars-Bimmer's S-class spec. I think the only requirements are racing slicks and RWD, but I could be wrong.
Tiny Terror Spec-This is my baby. It's the 914/6, Mazdaspeed Roadster, Lotus Elan, Dino, 2000GT, and Fairlady Z, under 200 hp. In practice, this pretty much forces a full grip build, and these cars do fine in open rooms.
Muscle, Inc. Specs-These are the old muscle cars, requiring width increases on the tires in D (challenger can substitute weight reduction), Y-rated in C, DOT's in B.
Spec cars-These races are getting more popular, so I guess they deserve a spot in this list. Just force stock build and tune, plug and play.
I hope I didn't miss anyone, but my point is, we have lots of specs. I'm very interested in building to other PI points, but my issue with that is that if you set a room to A750, you've effectively guaranteed that the room HAS to be private. No one walking in unprepared will be able to compete, or worse yet, they'll try to compete in a stock street car when everyone else is running a well-tuned race car. With these specs, we get around that. That said, I'd love to see what happens elsehwere in the PI. My hope is that the "scoreboard cars" really just do well at these specific points in the PI progression, and that they're not so much broken as just fortunate, having a sweet spot at the exact point where a lot of people race.
