Last run for me with the Cobalt: 85.488

Same tune, but went for lower weight. Seems like that is always the fastest way with these cars. Final build is B700, 241 HP, 2226 lbs. Forza wings at both ends but with only 58 lbs df in the front and 50 (the minimum) rear.

This car is very easy to drive. I may have to follow Drift over to MV and do an enduro. I'm flush with cash after going through Career for the 3rd time, but I could use the exercise.  :)

Ok final times for me, Couldn't quite break into the 85's but its been a good challange to not use the calc for tuning, I think I will be tuning more by feel than using the calcs in the future..

Cobalt - 86.018
Eclipse - 86.104
Golf - 86.214

Outside of the challenge, but I did run a 85.882 in my 257bhp Mini.  Just need to try and get that out of the Cobalt now.

Hey, SK...just wanted to say that you are free to experiment and post up your observations. I used to be a little hard-nosed about that but these days I think it just helps keep things interesting...

My scoreboard time is set with the mini - 84.630. Definitely a good car around here.

Sorry Larry, but I can't resist a challenge, and your time was certainly that. It's a very nice time - well done. It took me 12 laps of pushing the Cobalt to get there, and I only just edged you, but managed to sneak in there with an 86.475 ;)

I have a feeling if we were to race you'd get the win though..

OOPS!! That time should have been 85.475s :-[

Nice going, Spiny. We both go faster when we use each other as targets.  ;)

I'd say the mini is probably the closest compotition to the integra, I joined a room the other day where a guy from one of the tuning shops was running their new B-Class Mni and it was incredibly quick, right up there into integra territory with the times.. I've got a mini at C550 with an almost standard tune on it, which was one of the first cars I built up in Forza and got me into top 10,000 times when I was just starting out... I've not run it for a while but it may still hold a few LB positions for me..

Well done, guys...fun tuning and fun racing. A special thanks goes out to Ske for his Universal FF tune and for his willingness to share.

Another thanks goes out to our new bean-counting team, LarryCR and Drift2XL. These guys stepped up to run the leaderboards.

I am shutting this one down and we are making room for a Hoplee Adventure (that's what Hop does...adventures).

Pete has planned to use the sockmonkeys for a regular Saturday race. So, Pete...ole buddy...the OldSchool Speedshop is giving you the rights to the Sockmonkey concept and it is now yours to develop as you see fit. You now have your very own series!

Good racing!

Wow... thanks Dirt, thats real nice of you, I have had a few ideas floating around for these sorts of specs as they are close to the touring car races over here so it will be fun to develop... Thanks again mate, Pete

I did some early laps yesterday and improved the time on the GTI.

Golf GTI

85.691

Probably not good enough to move anywhere on the LB. But better nonetheless.

I did run a non-Sockmonkey Sockmonkey ???. I ran a full grip tuned S13 Silvia (Because I'm a RWDriver :D) Best on a good but not perfect lap is a 85.909.

It can keep up with the Golf's ghost everywhere except the turn to go to the infield and the hairpin out of the infield. The FWD can get to the gas a tad bit earlier. If I get perfect, it might knock it down to low 85.8's.

Leaderboard is completed
