Ok, only one car for now. I'm not exactly the most artistic person and not the greatest designer so this is not the thread to come to for the best designs (I think that's Fit4AKing's) but I will at least show you all what I'm running for these challenges. You've maybe seen the Camaro in the project car thread, but that's got a back seat so Dirt won't let it in the ALS challenge.

This time I've tried the '73 911. It's shown below coming out of the Becketts complex at Silverstone which everyone loves so much  ;). As you'll see from the tyre mark, this was a lap where I took a bit too much kerb. And, please remember that this is the first, and so far only logo I've attempted which is why I tried quite a simple design. Not to mention the incongruity of a website plastered on a 1970's car...

Thanks for the mention Spiny.  If I spent as much time tuning as I do painting my cars would be competative.  My strategy is to disrupt the flow of traffic by looking good.  Its not working.

I think period cars are beyond me. In the meantime, here's one I did a bit ago that's a bit different  :)



I had a lot of trouble getting a decent nose on it - in fact I think there's still a bit to improve on it yet.

One of these came past me in London - I was already laughing at the horns on the roof. When it was past I saw the udders hanging under the back bumper that just cracked me up completely  ;D
