Stock D-classers are a blast.  Spiny and I have had a little fun forcing stock tuning/upgrades in races.  They also chase off the shrill-voiced 13 year olds, the givers of corvette enimas.  lol

I particularly liked the stock Cruiser race. It sounds like a nightmare, but is really good fun for all skills. Plus, the squeaky voiced kids (SVK's) tend to come in, ask for you to go to U Class then disappear when you tell them no :)

Or ask for a friend request after sending a stock Corvette up your tailpipe...lol

You know, that kid gave us a lot of fun for his five minutes of ruining a short race around DBack.

He was fun, but I was thinking of the one who popped in when we were running stock races, asked why he had to run a stock car then announced that it sucked.

Back on topic....

I've only got my 'Cuda in B Class built up to Muscle Inc. Original specs, but it's incredibly grippy for a muscle car. I haven't posted the build or tune for some reason (unless it's hiding in the mongoose thread) but if you put on as much downforce as you can and upgrade the handling parts before the engine it can keep up with much less muscley cars, even on the snakes.

Did that today, actually.  Ran everyone off.   :(

Actually, this kept the pros and champs around, scared off the 13 year olds, and kept the TS14 folks from being just plain outgunned by the superior tuning of the old hands.   They still lost, as you'd expect, but they weren't forced to drive an untuned Z06 just to have something theoretically competitive.

Got to jump on the stock D Class bandwagon.

I was racing the Big Fish against someone else who had one. I was losing because I can't remember the tracks yet, but having a good time. I followed that race with a duel between bone-stock Lancis STRATOS cars on Tsukuba.

Some D-Classers make me yawn because they handle like they're on rails, especially the newer FWD junk, but a STRATOS is going to drive like the rally special that it is no matter what you do, and that my friends, is a good thing! More 'smiles per mile'... ;D

After that race, we took stock Cobras to Maple Short Reverse. My Famous Last Words: "This is going to get ... interesting." :D
