First up the Muscle Inc Stingray from this months Challenge, just a simple looking privateer race livery but getting the paint to line up and follow the roof line was a new challange as well as getting a very small outline round the car's number so it didn't blend in with the stripe...

Pete, I must say I am impressed with your design's. It's tougher than people think, in my opinion. And yet then, there are people that make me think I don't know shiz about design. Some of the Livery stuff is UNREAL!.

As my race skill begins and grows so does my livery skill...

I hope...

Anyway, I need to display some of my recent race designs.

Yea that's right, I re-drew my gamertag, and 37 is my lucky numero. AND my first real car was an '88 CRX Si.

Using a build from Fndr i have a Mazda. Which came in 2nd in it's first online race.

I call this one:

"Get Out Of The Way!"

I call this. "ARGH!..."

...and this:

"Factory Spec SUCKS!"

One of my first pics ever.

A Shelby.

Looks good to me.

Ain't it sweet pictures.

I LOVE these next two!

I call this one:

"Chasing The Dream".

I'm the Porche... Some pics are so fun!

And this is one is called:

"That Corvette Can Suck My Balls!"

I'm teh Viper...

Lol!

Mini

Pics are so fun!

I have more...

Enjoy!

Thanks Spiny, They took a while to do but they are pretty simple, its basicly the same shape just copy and pasted and then moved about 5 clicks to the left each time, Start with a solid red and then paste over with yellow ones at about 0.10 on the transparency to get the fade... But shhh. don't don't tell anyone...  ;)

Thanks Mini,

Your right about that Livery editor, its a bit baffeling to start with.. You see all those amazing designs and think "How the hell did they do that!!"

I've not spent that much time with it but Im improving, hopefully I should be able start putting together some more complex designs... Im pleased with how the vents turned out on the Audi though, its the first time i've tried it..

Anyway, I need to display some of my recent race designs.

You can setup your own gallery to show off your designs in this section mini, just setup a new topic... you got some good designs on that CRX and MX5 (Miata, sorry), Im sure your gonna come up with plenty more for everyone to see..

Vauxhall Sport Livery Lotus Carlton... (WIP, needs a couple more custom logos to finish it off)
The Auto Trader logo is custom made and im working on a couple of others to add to it as well, as a first attempt and creating custom logos im very pleased with how they have turned out... I'll add more pictures once it is completed...

EDIT: - New pics added
The Vauxhall Griffin logo on the roof took over 100 layers a couple of hours to do, other custom logos were Sparco, Weber Alpha and Michelin, im also now working on a Dymag logo to replace and correct the OZ logo on the back bumper...

WIP Pic

This car is A850 tuned, started out as just a paint job being my first attempt at a real life replica then I decided to tune it so it went like it looked lke it should... very good on the silverstone endurance race...

Source Pic...

Completed livery...

EDIT: - New Pics

JPS Livery Lancia Stratos...

The lettering and logos are from a Lotus Exige that was painted and gifted over to me unlocked by GT 'Podcast', I just saved the groups and rearranged them to re-create the paint on this car... This is one of my all time favorite liverys, so simple yet so good looking... and of course the number 12 car belonged to none other than the legend... Ayrton Senna.

This car is B700 tuned and is my snake charmer, its at least top 1500 or higher across all the snakes i've run it on, can be a tricky car to drive on the limit but so much fun too...

Another AH purchase, this is an old BTCC livery originally used on the Ford Sierra XR4's, I used to have a Scalextric (slot car) version of the car when I was a kid so this replica (even though its not a sierra) brings back some memory's.. (shame the pic has come out a bit dark...)

This car is tuned to B700 and is my Maple Valley car, Huge amounts of grip with slicks and it also fits into the M-Inc Sockmonkey specs...
