Newspeed Perfomance and Customs
« on: September 15, 2007, 04:27:22 PM »
Time to roll out the paint. Not the first thing I run to in FM2. But here goes. :)

First up the the ones I've put the "torch" to. Put on your No. 6 cutting goggles, these puppies are bright.
though.

The Z/28 already up on Blooze's thread

The Cuda. Note the M Inc. behind the front wheel. Hides nicely.
More flames later once they get uploaded.

On to the classics. Here you go Hoplee.

This Z is based off the BRE race car back in the 70's. Made a real splash in the sports car scene.
one picture, that's all I got up for FCT. Gotta wait for more upload time.

And the real life paint jobs

This one is drift driver Rhys Millen's Solstice

This is Vaughn Gitten Jr's drift Mustang.
BTW, the falken logo had to be hand drawn. There is over 40 layers in the red slash alone. The Red Bull was about four hours spent.

If you have anything to say ....    Keep It To Yourself!!  Ha! Now why would I post this if I wasn't expecting some sort of a response. There will be alot more coming up soon. Just have to bear with the ultra slow DU I'm on.

That's a nice looking Mustang!

I finally broke down and used photobucket to (re)host my FM2 pics. Just upload to FM2.net, download to computer, upload to photobucket and link to forum.

PITA but at least you won't have to worry about phase lines or color correction.

I'm impressed with the Datsun. Nuff said!

There's two old paintjobs I've been pining over that might be right up your alley. One is the old Electromotive red white and blue livery for the Z. The other is the Rothmans livery for the 959 Porsche. I've already seen one, but the quality was ... disappointing.

Thanks Hoplee. When I did the 240 I made a huge Datsun logo. It turns out that it wasn't on the car. Its a shame it looks real good. I'll just have to use it on another Z car.

I'm into "homage" paint jobs. I like to see the fans make their own versions of their favorite race or small production cars. I have a Stradale Dino coming up.

Dammit, I takes an hour to upload one pic on this crap dialup. I'm just going to do one or two every time I'm online. So there's a ton more to go.

Here's some new cars fresh off the lot

There's the C2 that I was running last week.

And some more classics

That one is the Dino Stradale

And a classic 914.
There's not much on them. That's the way I like it. Back in the old days paint was extra weight, and work.

We now return you to the Flame channel.

And now for the originals

I think the only Saleen color should be lizstick red. I stole this idea from the RRR/Speedlab cars of the mid 90's. The time when he was brave enough to put Tim Allen in a race car.

A little ricey I know, but I wanted to see the shop name in big letters and reversed. Plus US, asian car needed more than flames

And the rest of the drifter cars

And the Falken hachi

The LMMS CTS-V

LMMS GT 500

I have always liked the 302 Boss. So I slapped a '70 style on the Shelby

I've always been a little partial to the old Datsun 240,260 and 280 Z cars.  If any car can make a straight 6 sound good and seem stylish it's one of those.

Nice, Drift!  I especially like the lettering.  :)
It is highly likely that the above post was produced with a drippy jowl.

I'm trying to update these old pics as I get room in the FM2 site.
Some are done already.

And here's what Blooze got from me in the "restart swepstakes."

D Class

C Class at NY

And B Class at the 'Ring.  This is what I sent over.

If you want the different color Blooze just send it back. I can get it back to ya in no time. Or If anyone else wants the FM.net or the class tags I can send out a vinyl taxi.

No, the colors are great just like they are.  Thank You.

That gold looking  "Forza Tuning .Net" is going to start showing up somewhere on most of my cars.

Good Job!
