Thanks, bimmer...lot's of childishness and game playing going on and I am able to predict at this time that I will end up replacing my daytime employee.

And I think I might enjoy that.

Hm...this doesn't sound fun at all.  Well, the part where you get to fire incompetent people is OK, I guess, but I always hated even that.

LMAO, fnder! that was funny.

Hey, Good morning, Fit!

(Many of you will not remember the good morning threads from the days of FM1...don't know why, but this morning I was looking for the usual early AM suspects and just decided to post the old tradition.)

Mornin Dirt, and what a strange morning it has been.

[moral dilema]My "promotion" was a trial by fire for the past 3 days.  Well today they asked me to get back to wrenchin even though I did very well and recieved lots of praise from the higher ups.  Turns out I have to wait for the position to open up or make a case why I'm a better candidate than the guy in the seat.  My boss in no uncertain terms said "you can wait for the position you want to open up or you can move someone out of your way."  I hate having a conscience, but I don't want to screw myself out of anything at the same time.[/moral dilema]
Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

Are you the better candidate, Fit? If you are then don't you have a moral obligation to your company, customers, family, and self to establish that? Letting the inept move up and the capable flounder is pretty much a good way to make sure the rest of our jobs get moved overseas...Heck, you're a patriot, right?

Promote yourself, Brother. Move him out!
