This is the build I'm currently running. Taking a look back at it, it has about 12 lb-ft less peak torque and 2 more hp. Strangely, it has a 4.1 acceleration rating compared to the bazdc2 at a 4.0. It's rarity rating is also 0.1 higher, which means a little more cha-ching for the wins. ;) My fastest time on Mugello in it is a 1.57.xxx

What a fantastic car you've found here Hoplee!

I've just tried Blooze's build, but none of the tuning tweaks, and run the Dino in the Career 350hp Invitational where I have beaten my previous best times by between 3-5 secs.

My QR times were as follows:

59.738 - Tsukuba
60.840 - Mugello Short
59.322 - Atlanta Short
=================
179.900 - Total

Like I said, a fantastic car.
GTs: MJR Rampage / MJR Osmosis

If there's a way to do it better... find it.

I jumped into a public room because I couldn't find anyone in my friends list that wasn't playing Halo3 or PGR and had a ball last night. The Challenger, the 914/6, and then, the bazdc2 Dino that I keep around for reference. I've been hitting the Muscle Inc. cars lately and getting a lot better with them. I can break one minute on Tsukuba pretty reliably, which has been a real surprise for me.

But oh that Dino! ;D

After learning to wrangle the Boss around RAShort, I was starting to think it had an edge on the little Italian. It can carry 115mph on the uphill sweeper coming onto the straight and charges pretty hard through the corners for having as low a handling rating as it does.

But oh that Dino! :o

I climbed into the Ferrari and took 1st place in turn one of a 5 lapper and never looked back. The best lap was a 59.069 a new personal best. I am once again astounded by this little car. It wasn't the fastest car in the room, that was a Gen3 RX-7 but a couple of tenths, but it was so consistent and so quick off the starting line that I held onto at least a 60m lead the whole way through.

If any of you haven't tried this one yet, it's your turn to say:

Oh that Dino! ;D

I was feeling pretty good about the Road Atlanta Short run from last night. Turns out it was actually a 59.040! So off I went to check the hotlap leaderboards to see where I stacked up.

place# 2315

carp!

So I decided to perform a quick analysis of the top 500 B-Class times on this track. The results were a little surprising and a little disappointing. Once again the Mugen Integra is king. *yawn. The top time on the track is an astounding 55.757. (For comparison, the top A-Class time on this track is a 53.486.) I was a little depressed to see the swarm of Integras so I went through the next 500 times looking for a more interesting (pleaseRWDohplease!) car that could keep up. The first RWD time on this track is all the way down at #195 where an Exige Cup 240 recorded a 57.388. The next closest RWD time is #450 in, you guessed it, another Exige! I found just one AWD car at #413 and I have to say I smiled because it's one of the very few north american AWD turbo cars, the Eagle Talon (it was a joint venture! it counts, right?).

Going through the rest of the times yielded very few cars that weren't FWD. Out of the top 500 times, a grand total of seven weren't. I have listed them below in order of place:

#195 Exige Cup 240
#413 Eagle Talon
#450 Exige
#451 Jaguar XK Coupe (whiskey tango foxtrot?!)
#460 Fairlady Ver. S
#465 Border MR2
#481 RX-7 Gen 3

The nice thing is that they were all different cars (even though two of them were just different versions of the Exige). What I would like to know is, can the Dino break into this crowd? To find out, I'm going to need a more talented driver than I am. If anyone would like to volunteer, I can send you a custom painted Dino to run hotlaps in. I think Chuck Norris is busy, so I'm asking you guys. Anyone care to 'man-up'? ;D

Hop, I'll give this a try but I'm not too good at Road Atlanta so don't send me a dino.  I'll make my own. :)

I'll have a go... I need to see what a properly tuned Dino feels like anyways, since mine is so far off the pace.

I'm not as good a driver as you guys but I do like this car so I tried it out.  I had to put the racing slicks on to get my best time and with those managed a 59.786 which is #4923.  Not bad for me.

someday Open will actually try the car I sent him...

The FWD physics of this game make me ill. I'm seriously considering moving the majority of my efforts to A-Class to get away from this crap. A 2 second advantage over a lap that takes less than one minute is ridiculous. I would go so far as to say that the physics regarding FWD are misleading and dangerous. Younger gamers are going to think that a FWD car will really drive without understeer when driven in anger. I autocross a FWD car and I can tell you with certainty that understeer is just part of the bargain, unless you're playing FORZA.

Hop, I haven't forgotten about ya buddy.  Its just that I'm 6'6" and I had to have the seat refitted for me.  ;D  I'll try to get on it tonight.  I'm making a mental note now, aww screw it, I'll write it down....

Ok so I've got my note now.  I don't know if I'll have connection to Live when I run this, so its possible that my time may or may not be uploaded.  Either way, I'll report back here as soon as I get a chance.

Open, you're alive! (jk)

In other news, a RWD car is now holding the 2nd fastest time for Mugello. It's an Exige Espionage. It might help to take a look at the replay. Then again, it might just tick you off! heehee!
