They're definitely different from my missile tunes, but I'll give both a try as I'm gonna try and hit the original track scoreboards. At first glance it looks very oversteery to me (I usually like at least 57-58% weight up front in my FRs), but I haven't been running rear aero in my missiles.

From looking at the numbers I'd probably also run a combination of your tunes, closer to Iso's toe and camber but an even higher caster angle than Snyder. Not sure about the gearing but I might start with an M12 or something. I'll have a couple of runs and post my results here.

Those 4 speeds are nice.  The lack of necessary shifts keeps the rear planted and reduces wheels pin, plus with cams you can wind the motor out.
Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

I was pushed back to 17th so i tweaked the ARB's and ran almost broke the 79 second barrier, would have, if not for a .1 penalty time.

I'll take a look at that set-up IsoTeeHee, see how it works for my driving style.  I prefer a 4-speed though, as, like Fit said, they really help increase my acceleration and speed.

I watched your replay...very nice driving.  Now, quick question...I see that you posted your tune, but how do you download someone's tune?  I've never found that option, but I've heard about it.

thx fndrbndr, i assume you mean my 1:19.002 time.  Unfortunately, i decided to protect my toon, so no random person can download an easy set-up (that i worked really hard to put together).  But i'll share my set-up with the muscle-inc crew.

So this new time does not have a downloadable set-up, but i'll update this page.

If the person's set-up is downloadable, it would say "Download Car Set-up" right under the Watch Replay option.  You have to search around to find them, usually in the 50-100 range.  As of today, i was the highest racer with a downloadable set-up, but i'm guarding my time now, lol.

That's understandable.  I don't do anything that great with my tuning, so I don't bother, but I can see how someone with actual skill might want to protect it.  Thanks for sharing-I'll see if I can even keep the thing on the track. lol

Ok I gave this a try this morning before work.  First problem was just trying to figure out the tire/wheel/width combo to match your specs.  I never matched it perfectly but I finally got within 10 lbs of your weight with an A850 rating.  It was stock tires, one width upgrade and the wheels, um, I'm not sure.  Definately not the stock ones.

So then I loaded up your toon.  I didn't have much luck with it then I remembered you use TCS which I normally don't.  I turned it on and did a little better but it still didn't fit my driving style so I started from scratch and put my own toon on it.  I started with a Tonka 56/54 then a 53/54 which was better.  Made some minor tweaks and ran an 81.396 for #216.  Not too bad for me.  Top of my friends list except for you at #15.  I'm guessing with some more work on the toon and a few more laps I can probably break the 81 second barrier, btw #100 is 80.648, but I doubt I can get anywhere close to your 79 second lap.  I'll tweak it some more and also run some of the other tracks.  I pretty much just have filler times in A class right now so I need to go through them anyway and this looks like a darn good A class power car.  Once I get the toon nailed down to where I like it I'll post it up or if I can actually crack the top 100 on any course it should be downloadable.

Also, I did keep your 4 speed tranny toon.

I run the Enkels, second from the left.  besides that i think you have the tires down.  i keep forgetting to post that up.  I wrestled another .008 off my time after much swearing and aggravation, but i'm now into the 78's  I know there's at least another .4 with this tune, so we'll see tomorrow.

EDIT: I forgot, i switched to the Motegi rims.  when i go on later, i'll get the tire compound and post it up here.  Also, i have not upgraded the rim size at all.

I tried it after another online trouncing by Snyder "et al".
(i used no wheel diameter change, the lightest wheels, and the Yokohama Streets to yield same HP but 2164 lbs)

Reminds me of the Lingenfelter as I did not use TCS when I drove that either.
(yuck) :)

A** is loose, she's fast, no doubt about it, gotta get on the binders early.
Maybe with some TCS and some talent, I could drive it without killing anybody.

Thnx,
Geo
aka Happy Backmarker

I tried a few more power tracks and it's working pretty well.  I think my best placement is Sunset Short Reverse where I'm at #142.  On to the rest of the power tracks.

I got the tire specs up, and my new tune.  How dare you take down my GTO time at Sunset short reverse, lol.
