Monday, 4:00 p.m. CST will bring it to a close... ;D

Dang... looks like I'm done, then.  :'(  If Fit'll let it fly, my paint pictures may come in a little late...

For the sake of competition I'll let the pics fly when they are done.  I'll get the last apint poll finalized and set up this one on Tuesday.  That gives you tonight and some of the evening Tuesday.
Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

I worked up a couple of different setups on the ol' Bimmer last night. They were all based on differing ARB points : 1/40, 10/40 and 10/30 but, I couldn't get any of them to match the speed of the more standard 11/11 build that I used to set my fastest time.

At the end of the night, I went back to that setup and made a couple of very minor tweaks and was able to get back to an 82.29 in a 10 lap run but, I was falling asleep while watching telemetry replays so, I knew I wasn't sharp enough to set another personal best.

Congrats to Drift, team Solstice and to all on a fine effort. We now hold the highest placed times for these cars on Suzuka West. Since the track favors HP and we had a limit on our build, I guess that's not so much of a surprise.

Well, gents, that's it. Team Solstice is the winner of the shootout. But I am going to give this one to driver skill over the car. The times are too close, IMO. I think perseverance takes the checkered on this one.

Good job, everyone. Sorry I dropped out but that flu bug is hitting us hard around here. Thanks for all the participation!

Whoo... just finished the paint.  I meant for it to be a BMW Team JEi Touring/Endurance racer.  We'll see how she does.

Here's the paint for the comp:

Oh, I don't know after seeing how good it is I may have to draw the closing bell for the paint comp for 8:22pm, and you just missed it.  Man I'm real sorry.

Just Kidding, I'll add it to the list and it looks great.

Man I really bailed on this competition, sorry team Solstice, but you way-faster-than-me guys pulled it out anyway.

Nice paint Bimmer!

I had said the the Paint Poll for this would be tomorrow but I'll be in a Tween-girls heaven and away from my CPU all night.  That means that while I'm out enjoying a long awaited evening out with my daughter and a Hannah Montana concert, you guys will still have some shred of testosterone.  I'll start it up on Wednsday, assuming I'm still alive.

Thanks TJN!  Mind if I call you Quack or Quack Mole? ;)

Fit, you, uh, have fun.  I hope you two have a good time...

Between the shrieking, that is...

Again, great job guys - this was a really close challenge  ;D

LOL I'm scared I'll be in your shoes in about 5 or 6 more years.  I've already been to a Wiggles concert with my daughter.  The sad thing about that is, on top of knowing all of the words to all of the songs, I kind of enjoyed the show.   :-[

Ha, my son (2) loves the Wiggles and I get to do all of this again as he grows up.  I'll have a good time, and I get a whole day off tommorrow to recover.  I'll be sore as I promised that I'd take her out to use her Xmas present since it is nearly 60 today.  I bought her a Tennis Racket and all the gear to get her off the couch.  I'll be stinkin it up all day on the tennis court.  If only I could have gotten a Wii, then I could play tennis in my PJ's.

I'm off to the concert now so if noone hears from me I was carried away by a mob of pre-pubescent, screaming, tween girls.  If I do make it out alive I'll be in desperate need of some Forza time to offset the experience.
