The New Kid...
« on: December 16, 2007, 07:37:15 AM »
This kid, BucksToon, (we call him "Buck" around here) had been hangin' around the shop, mostly trying to help and stay out from underfoot and at the same time get some pointers on fixing up his scabby-assed GTO.  I was getting busy trying to finish up all the testing for the Wb Tuning and figure out what I am going to do about MR and RR cars so I decided to bring the kid on to manage and run the Muscle Cars.

We set him up a separate garage and moved all the Muscle Cars into it.  He'll be running the old iron exclusively, both in hotlap and the career - in all classes.

I told him one more "Accelleration Exhibition" ticket and he's grounded tho, so if you see him pealing out at a stop light or sign with this hunk of junk, let me know.

I don't need another hit on my insurance around here...

Welcome, Buck.

Please tell me how you set up this alternate account. Is it running off the same XBL account as your primary ego.  :D

No.  In order to get another entity on the Leaderboards you have to have a separate account.  Various projects such as this one prompted me to buy the extra account in the midst of Forza I.  I have just kept it going (I think $50/yr is out and out cheap for what you get).

Besides, it allows me to exercise my Gemini type characteristics...

So Blooze,

Does Buck have BucksToon as his gamertag?

I'd like to add him to my friends list. That's if he's okay with it.

[EDIT] It appears Buck has already found me on XBL. FR accepted!! [EDIT]

If there's a way to do it better... find it.

Blooze, how about asking Buck to take some photos of this car on the track with smoke pouring out the back!   ;D

I'd kill for this paint job!

Yes, that's an absolutely awesome paint job.  How did you put it together?

lol - I will see if I can generate the situation and get a pic.

The paint job was done by a good friend and fellow Nuke, JLudwig, also known as Secondary Sink on the XBox forum where he generally hangs.  He's been involved in Muscle Inc. since its inception.

One of my Round Tuits is to emulate the paint job on other vehicles.  I haven't checked it in a while, but I remember that it seemed like lots of imagination, attention to detail, and vinyls were involved.

JLud is quite generous with his paint jobs and skills and is willing to share - I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I sent you a copy of it.

If he doesn't want to create any more body damage beyond what the "ravages of time" already appear to have done, I believe that extended over-revving of the engine will blow it up and generate smoke  ::)
