Foreign Car, Foreign Track, Lets "C" - Closed
« on: November 07, 2007, 10:55:11 PM »
Its time for something totally new and different.

Muscle Inc is goin green for the rest of this months challenge.

Put your V8's in the garage, cover the carburetor, and do your part to reduce the emissions in Forza's fragile atmosphere.  Nothing but economy cars and small displacement till December.

The Challenge
You can pick any car that you want as long as its a Civic, all varients, all models, all low emissions vehicles.  Now open to the lighweights, CRX, Del Sol, any varient I missed just no Integras.
The Restrictions
C-class.  Plain and simple.

The Track
Motegi, the twisty ribbons (Sorry Hek), in any order you'd like.  The oval has been conquered but feel free to re-run it for the sake of completion.

The ultimate goal is to flush out the best Civic in the game for C-class without killing every tree in Japan.  There may be a "happy ending" for those that look forward to the twist.  We all need to slow down and take a break once in a while.  Here's your chance, slower cars, different drivetrain, new track, new challenge.  Lots of new, lots of different, lots of opportunity.

Notes
  • twisty ribbons = anything but the oval on Motegi
  • A set of times should be completed with a single build.  You may however, adjust the tune for each track.
  • If you wish to have the same car with a different builds up on the scoreboard, post each set of times with a unique build name.
  • NEW: Please also specify your drive type (FWD, AWD, RWD) when posting times.

Fresh new challenge.  Sounds good to me.  Is this one tune for all three tracks?

Edit: The scoreboard is up and all is well. :)

I'm sorry.  I love this pictures, and, well, I just HAD to...

This'll be interesting... very interesting.

Guys, I just wanna say something here - as much as I kid about Honda's I actually do like them.  They make really fine engines... but I can't resist a good V-Tec joke here or there.  This challenge looks promising.  I keep meaning to get around to tuning up a civic or two... but when I have to choose between an M3 and a Civic... well... hehe.  I hope to be able to run in the front of this one.

PS: Anyone want to make this decal:

It is highly likely that the above post was produced with a drippy jowl.

If you want to toon the car for the different ribbons thats fine but stick to one build.  By all means run a grip, power, or compromise build (or all 3) but note it in your times to avoid confusion.

I added that information to the first post.  Thanks for the clarification.

maybe it would help if we posted what 'twisty ribbons' means in the first post.

This'd be a good time for that earth F1 scheme.

Maybe I could take the F1 car's engine...

I wonder what'll happen here.  I'm probably going to take out the newer metal first, run a standard mixed build.  This is good for me.  I need to work on my FWD tuning and driving.

a solid argument can be made that the CRX is a Civic...
