I got another one...

Class R4 - 98

Took a snapshot of it and got it all dated and everything.  I left some time on the track with this one, primarily because I really didn't get the car tuned correctly until I was more than halfway done with the Class.  I used the #42 Acura exclusively for this.  I really like the way this car handles.  I'll have the Mods in the Muscle Car? thread here in a bit.

Trying to decide on whether to do S or R3 next...

And I'm about 2 minutes behind you at 40:02 in my Mk5 GTI. I drive one to work so it seems like a good choice for the tracks. (Although from my placement on the leader boards either I suck or the car does.)

Chasing, chasing...

I realized later that you guys were running ALL the tracks and I had stopped at the RWT group. So I finished the rest of them in my GTI this afternoon. Now I've got 3 minutes to make up.

Those snake tracks are pretty fun, by the way. And I definitely left a lot of opportunities for improvement here and there.

Larry,

The Mk2 is a very fast car but I've not tried the Mk5.  Some of those snake tracks drive me nuts.  And Blooze is crazy enough to run all the tracks in most (all eventually?) the classes!!  :o  I'm far from happy with my times on many of the tracks so who knows if/when I'll even get out of D.

I just surfaced from a session of chasing you two and checked the boards to get my new times recorded. Can you believe there are 1,000 new competitors since the middle of this morning.

The kids on the F2 forums are right - this game is over.  :D

I started tracking that number - On Oct 28 it was 855,011.  Tonight at about Midnight, it is 926,068.  That is 71,057 new hotlap accounts in less than a month.  Yup, might as well start diggin' the hole...

I got me another one for you guys to chase! ;D

In a flurry of high production lapicatin' I finished off R2 for the time being...

I took a snapshot of it with me ranked 92 Overall.

6 down - 4 to go...

Nice going on all the hotlap sheets so far. When you finish do you start over and get into the top 100 again? :o

The 1,000 new competitors in hot laps I mentioned yesterday was just D class. That might reflect most of the new users, though, since Career starts out there.

Probably, but hopefully not quite as pendantic as that sounds.  The next pass will be more related to building out my Garage.  This will mean that I will spending a great deal of time in the A Class.  The R4 class interests me also, with all the Vettes and Vipers.

LOL - The dynamics of the leaderboard is a sport, or activity, all its own.  Analyzing the numbers and trying to get a picture of the "Forza User" that they define.  I end up watching what happens with the leaderboard in general, not just to see my times.

Don't forget there's probably a load of offline users as well as those 1000. I only got online at the start of October, and Drift is still offline. So, the chances are that there were well over 1000 new players in that time - I'd say the game is growing even better than we've been suggested.

PS: Nice to see another mature (as in attitude, not age) member here Larry - hope you're settling in :)

I noticed at Costco that Forza2 is now packaged with the 360 so I suspect we'll see even more players over the coming months.  PGR3 was packaged with mine and even though I don't like the game all that much (too arcady for me) I played it quite a bit at first since it was my only game back then.
