Has the whole world gone MAD! That's the legendary Quattro sitting there - LEGENDARY! And the R18-the Godfather of Le Mans! And that Mustang is...uh...OK, who needs another mustang? But, That's the Quattro!

 ;D

YES!  THE QUATTRO!  I do actually really want to drive that car.  The others range from cool to don't care, but the Quattro?  Massive HP and crappy little tires on a little vintage rally car!?  Are you kidding?  That's awesome!
Don't make me go get my Bentley Hummer!

I'm moderately excited about the Mustang, will always be willing to try Italian cars without a pony or bull on them, and am actually really excited about the Quattro.  I never race R1, so part of the pack is too far up the food chain for me.  The only car I'm actually irritated by is the Rampage Jackson Dodge.  In a RACING game, we're getting a cheesy celebrity car?  Also not sure what the Bentley really achieves, but I'm not big on Bentley anyway.  It's worth the purchase, especially since I have the season pass. lol

Speaking of cheezy celebrity cars, I wonder how good this Rampage guy is.  I'm having a heck of a time herding that lard assed Dodge around Laguna Seca...

Those Bentlee cars make my teeth itch - should they ever compete for anything other than blingin' up a nightclub parking lot, I might be a little more interested.

The Quattro on Kaido is almost a given.  Shirley it will be one of the Monthly challenges.  I hope they can place it in one of the hotlap categories rather than one of those traffic jam things...

Erm, I think that's this year's R18 isn't it? The one which is almost guaranteed to win Le Man barring total mechanical failure for the team since it will be the only works diesel running in a race when the rules blatantly seem to favour diesel. (I'm maybe off to Le Mans this year, so I'll counter that by saying that I'm really looking forward to seeing the lower class, and louder, cars in action ;)). [EDIT - Oh, I've just realised you mean Godfather as in Audi appear to have made an offer involving a horse's head which the FIA couldn't refuse :P]

I definitely like the look of the Quattro, and if T10 have fixed the servers before the Ultimate Collection comes out I'm pretty certain I will end up driving it. After all, this is the car which was dominating when I first became interested in rallying. It's just that I fear it will be virtually unupgradeable and as such only see limited action.

Well, I guess I am not worried about your mood disorder. That was hilarious...

What's the deal with Peugot? Why did they drop out?

My guess?  Anthony Davidson got pissed and t-boned their last working car.

I hope no Peugeot means no Davidson this year.  I'd like to see a majority of the field finish this year, and it probably won't happen if he throws his annual Le Mans tantrum.

The official reason is a "difficult sales environment in Europe". Not sure whether that is code for "our new Le Mans car isn't competitive and we'll look even worse if we go out and get thrashed" or code for "our road cars are stuck at the bottom of the reliability tables and it's not exactly going to change people's minds if we fail to complete even the first half of the 24 hours".

Either way, it's a shame when you get a monopoly in any sport. Just look at rallying for an example of how bad things can get when almost all manufacturers effectively pull their support.

As for mood disorder??? No, just the same problem as lots of other people - lots to do at work and not enough time :-\

It's not a monopoly, though. Toyota's jumping in this year with a Hybrid LMP1 coupe.  So that should be interesting, I'd think.
It is highly likely that the above post was produced with a drippy jowl.

Well, I like this one. The Panos (looks abit sci-fi)...
DD

Grabbed this of the "sci-fi" last summer at Mosport. She was retired directly after that race.

I guess cars that break every race aren't a good way to sell road cars, eh?

Doesn't seem to be hurting Lambo's sales any.  The poor JLOC car has only traveled a couple more laps around Le Mans than me!  :)

Toyota's got a lot to prove at Le Mans.  I don't think anybody is really considering them competition this year, either.  If they're competitive their first year (with a complex hybrid no less), I think it's safe to assume the rules were slanted to favor hybrids.  And even if they are, Audi has a history of beating up on "rules ringers".

Nope, it's last years winner.

Here's a link to a few images showing subtle differences in Chassis.

I thought that Audi was going to be bringing a hybrid version of the R18 this year? Could have been next year, I guess (or a complete figment of my imagination)
