Ferraris... I got 'em. 27 of the things in fact. I got the Ferrari Collectors badge as well. It occurred to me that I 'spose I ought to do something with them. So I'm gonna build them up, and drive them, at least to a QR, and some - the more notable ones - will get posted in here.
And of course, this is where anything about a Ferrari now-a-days should start. The '64 GTO. Well, maybe the '67 330 P4, or the 250 Testa Rossa... but this is as good a starting place as any. Another reason for starting with this one, besides all the money it costs, is that Forza finally got it right!!

The 250 GTO has been the Credit Costin' flagship for Forza since it came out. And it has pretty well sucked as a Forza car since Forza came out. Having committed to driving the things, and currently working in B Class, the time had come. I had to build it out to class and get a QR on it.
Surprise!!

First, the numbers didn't suck. Even without aero parts, the car was near the top of the B Class herd for G@120 - a 0.93. Tops in my garage is currently the Hyundai Genesis with a 0.95. The accelleration numbers were the best. Alas, the launch numbers were not. But once it gets going...
It came within a tenth of a second of becoming the top QR. That was before I found out I could swap the S flywheel for the P Transmission and S Driveshaft. Such a deal!!
So, rather than just run the QR tracks, I am off to run the full B Class season with the thing. It ought to be fun...
