Daytona - Rolex 24
« on: January 28, 2012, 05:32:25 PM »
Watching this on Speed. Wow, is that a Corvette Daytona Prototype?! And my beloved 458s are in the field dicing it up with Camaros and Mustangs and...what was that German car we used to have in the game?

Cargasm coolness going on!

The Rolex Grand Am is certainly shaping up to be fun to watch through out the season what with the new Corvette DP and the Gen 3 Riley, and the entry of the Camaro, Mustang, Audi and Ferrari in the GT fracus.

Looks like those german cars are totally getting even for my comment, Nick! Holy cow!

Still loving that Corvette DP. I understand they are running a couple of different chassis' under that body. But, damn, it looks better than the road car.

I find it interesting that the Grand Am folks managed to get all those cars into the GT class and Forza has them spaced from C to R3.

Missed the whole race visiting family this weekend.  Love that race, especially since attending.  :(

Sad to see that the SunTrust car had another heartbreaker.  That poor team is cursed.

Finally caught a look at the CDP and it's quite a machine! I'll take one in whatever colour is available.

Some of the cars aren't really the street cars at all.  For example, the RX-8 is a tube frame silhouette car.  Peek in the window and it's all frame and body panels.  The Porsches and Ferraris are much closer to a road car.

I agree, the DP Vette is a nice looking car!  Not many of the DPs are lookers, but that Vette is the best I've seen!
