I got a new microwave oven and a 1/2 gallon of Bacardi Dark - so far.  My daughter is holding their tree until I get there (around 10) and I am sure I will score some more...

Wireless Mouse and Keyboard, tool box with some hand tools to complement the air tools/compressor I got a couple of years ago, and some cash.

Skyrim = hermit status achieved!

Very cool poster Phantom!!

I had a good day yesterday.  Got to get out out of the house for a while and go visit my kids over at their place.  It was a really pleasent day topped off with a dandy Turkey dinner.  The kids have raised their kids, my grandkids, well and they are fun and interesting to be around. 

And I got a bunch of winter driving uniforms!!

For the uninitiated, that amounts to 3 pair of sleep pants and a sack of Haynes V neck T-shirts.  It's hard to buy stuff for the guy who already has everything! :)

My hope is that all of you had as great a day as I!!

No cool gifts for me this christmas.
All I got was a box of chocolate from the children and sine they know I won't eat it..they will end up eating it in a week or so.
But I guess its the thought that counts  ::)

Nothing super cool here either.  Mostly gift cards and a couple books.  That's what I get for not making a list this year; don't ask for anything, don't expect anything.

The best gift is a craft table, not a froo froo girly one but one step short of a drafting table so I can angle the desktop and draw without having to lean over a flat surface.  Once I put it together and try it out I'll post a pic or two.

I almost hit the GameStop today to either pick up Skyrim or Deus Ex.  Not sure if I'll actually pull the trigger on either, I have the same frugal tendencies in real life that I have in Forza.  Ok, I'm cheap, that's it.

I got two very different, but complementary gifts:

1) A fancy tea maker that ensures I will have a steady caffeine drip going 24/7 with the minimum amount of work.

2) An arcade cabinet, which let me FINALLY build my own MAME machine.  I converted a small room in my house to an arcade room last night!

Of course, this conspires to keep me away from Forza, but oh man I'm having fun playing all the old arcade games that my allowance never allowed me to play enough!  :D

The girlfriend splurged on my birthday in October and got a 5.1 speaker set to replace the computer speakers I was using on my Xbox so I told her I didn't really need anything for Christmas.  One Sunday a couple months ago we were watching a Chief's game and I mentioned I liked Todd Haley's hoodie, so she got me one for Christmas:)
