Nice wheel rim weight list

Sorted by weight, with pictures.  Makes Forza's poor interface much more tolerable.

A lot of effort went into that.  A tip of the hat to the feller that did it!

Thanks for posting it Moo...

What a time saver it will be to have that thing around.  No more scouring the individual brands when I want to go rim shopping.  Sure I have my favorites but that will help when I'm looking for something a bit different.

No prob!  It's gonna be a huge timesaver for me.  Depending on the car, I blow the last PI or two on either a driveshaft or wheels, and it's always a five-minute job to find a wheel that maxes out my PI but still looks good on the car.

Great to see this with pictures - it really brings the list to life.

Not sure that it will save me a lot of time as I printed out the FM3 sheet and have handwritten in the new rims (there aren't many). Trouble for me is that one rim can look great on one car and terrible on others - the classic one is the chrome Micky Thompson one which looks fantastic on muscle cars but terrible on a hot hatch.

One thing I have always wondered is why the J5 Pro is such an odd weight (+18lbs). It was the same in Fm3 but I do wonder if it was a mistake which was carried through or whether that is deliberate.

When I get my next release of the Kitchen Sink up later today, pics of the wheels are one of the new additions.

The wheel weights always seemed kind of random to me, although I'm not fond of how all the ugly ones are the heavy ones.  A decent-looking five-spoke wheel that was really heavy would help my PI stacking endeavors greatly.  :)

I can't stand tasteless looking wheels on my cars. Kills me that some of those designs even made it into the game.

I'm annoyed that I've got one of those ugly heavy show wheels on my Viper CC, but it was the only way to keep the thing out of R3.  At least they're super deep-welled so you can't see much of the wheel.  :)

I've looked for lighter rims for my real world Miata and the light rims in the game tend to be the lighter rims available in the real world. I would like to see different OEM rims that were available on the different cars. The in game 2001 Mazdaspeed has my style of rim, but mine are 16" and silver.

My biggest problem with the ingame selection is that too many rims look too similar, more variety would be nice. And, like a lot of the daught netters, I would love be able to paint rims non-metallic colors, white, yellow, red, etc for rally style paint schemes.

This list is really good.  The only trouble I have is the wheels that are listed at +0 -- does that mean that these are X pounds lighter than the stock rims?

Hot Dog!  Turn 10 just gave me a '65 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C!  How cool is that?

The +0 wheels are the lightest wheels in the game.  How much lighter varies from car to car.  Its a percentage of some sort.  Anyways, all the other wheels are listed in their relation to the +0 wheels.  If a +0 wheel is one Pi too many, try a +3 wheel, and so on.

Yeah, I got one in my Blooze account...  wonder what that's all about?

I think the voting for random VIP gift cars started up again.  Pretty sure I saw mention of it sometime last week on, I think facebook?

They had a vote on Turn 10's facebook page between the Shelby Cobra and Ford GT40 to give one out to VIP's.  Cobra won.
