Hmmm, I wasn't aware that the '69 Camaro was on the Poopy List...  I wonder what it did?

Oh no, not my darling Z/28!?  :(

I wonder what you could do with it that made it a cheat?  I hope my builds aren't doing whatever it is!  (well, they probably aren't, it's one of my slower cars.)

I don't have a problem with this solution.  Removing the cars from the leaderboards is prudent considering they're only there for some exploit.  Of course you'd have to block future times, too.  I just hope they fix the problem quickly.

To me any car they have blacklisted is now and forever on the scrap heap and will never be worth driving. WHATEVER Turn 10 does for a PI fix will be overkill and cripple these cars. The same thing happened with the the Lotus Elan in FM2.

I think the usual method is to stuff loads of horsepower (excluding cams) while keeping a stock gearbox which, in the cars on the list at least, gives a very low top speed. Can't say I've tried though, that's just what I've heard on the grapevine as it were.

Not sure how well the block is working though. Last night, after the patch but before I saw the "Under the Hood" I took the GTA out at Infineon Indycar (D Class) and the time from that uploaded to the leaderboard. I wonder if part of that is because I was running a race gearbox? If so, the upload blocker is obviously more involved that we've been led to believe. Another pointer that this may be the case is that many people last night were reporting that their garages were taking a long time to load up first time they went in after the patch - I'm not a computer expert but I wonder if the patch was examining builds for "illegal" cars?

The Camaro is at the top of a lot of the A class leaderboards. I think that is why it is on the list.

If there's a way to do it better... find it.

I've wondered about that.  One of the items on the ole 'Round Tuit is to see how the AMX shakes out with the Transmission upgrade instead of all the grip and Hp goodies.

I would contend that their hinging the Pi on Topspeed is a failure at this point...

Ah, that is why I hadn't seen anything on the Camaro.  I haven't even cracked A Class yet...  :-\

T10 is creating a police state, apparently.  What's next, Soylent Green?

I guess I don't understand either of those...  Police State?  In what way?  All I see them doing is trying to rectify an error they have made with their new Pi generator.

...and, what is Soylent Green?

:)

But thanks, Dirt.  I feel validated... It seems no one knows Spinal Tap or Soylent Green around here.  You guys need to brush up on the classics!

Hey! You're a musician, too, Cheeze!  It's in the handbook that "Thou shalt considerith Spinal Tap an Classic of moderate proportions."

I paraphrase, but it's in there. ;D
