Exhaust
  • Exhaust system upgrades such as improved headers, mufflers and large-bore tubing provide extra power.  They let the engine exhale more freely, creating more power by reducing back-pressure and extracting exhaust gases more efficiently.
  • S: Install a high-performance mandrell-bent cat-back exhaust system with stainless steel muffler(s) for more efficient breathing.
  • P: Install stainless steel header(s) and down-pipe(s), high-flow catalytic converters, and a large-diameter flow-optomized cat-back exhaust.
  • R: Install port matched lightweight ceramic-coated anti-reversion header(s) and a straight through race tuned exhaust system.

Pistons & Compression
  • Pistons compress the air-fuel mixture and convert heat energy to mechanical energy.  Piston and compression upgrades can include high strength heat resistent pistons and modifications to optomize compression for improved power.
  • S: Install high-performance cast pistons.
  • P: Install forged high-strength pistons for increased durability and improved compression.
  • R: Install custom machinged race pistons performance coatings with gapless low-tension rings to optomize compression.

Heads & Valves
  • Upgraded valves improve intake and exhaust gas flow, allowing your engine to breathe freely and produce more torque and power.  The net result is more power in the high-RPM range.
  • S: Install swirl polished large-diameter stainless steel valves with a multi-angle grind to provide additional airflow to the engine.
  • P: Install back-cut intake and exhaust valves designed to maximize airflow.  Shape intake and exhaust ports to equalize power produced by each cylinder.
  • R: Install larger lightweight high-strength valves with a multi-angle grind and larger valve seats for optomizing airflow into the engine.  Increase intake and exhaust port size and shape.  Modify the combustion chamber for more efficient flow and combustion.

Cooling
  • Oil and cooling upgrades help protect the engine from friction, heat damage and pumping loss.  Upgrades can include installation of additional radiators or remote oil resevoirs and coolers, baffled oil pans and dry sump oil systems.
  • S: Install multi-core radiator with aluminum end tanks and an aftermarket highflow radiator fan.
  • P: Install a remote-mount oil cooler with a large-capacity oil filter, and a baffled oil pickup to prevent oil starvation.
  • R: Install a dry-sump oiling system with remote oil cooler(s) to ensure consistent oil flow under high G loads.

Brakes
  • Brakes are an important part of the total performance picture.  Your car's brake performance must match its performance and handling for you to be competitive.  These upgrades increase braking power and decrease brake fade due to excessive heat.
  • S: Install high-performance brake pads, high boiling point brake fluid and braided stainless steel brake lines.
  • P: Install large ventilated two-piece rotors with aluminum mounting hubs and calipers.  Install track spec brake pads sized to match the larger calipers.
  • R: Install the largest possible full-floating carbon-ceramic brake rotors, front and rear matched aluminum monobloc calipers, race spec composite brake pads and dual master cylinders to provide adjustable brake bias front and rear.  ADJUSTABLE

Suspension
  • Springs and dampers can make a big difference in your car's handling by maintaining optimum ride hieght and tire contact.
  • S: xx
  • P: Install stiffer lowering springs and custom-valved shocks.  Replace existing bushings with Teflon bushings.
  • R: Install low-friction coilover racing shocks with remote resevoir for maximum valving control and matching linear racing springs.  Replace contol arm bushings with adjustable heim joints and steel bearings.  ADJUSTABLE

Differential
  • The differential allows tires on each side of the car to turn at different rates since the inside tire travels a shorter distance around the turn than the outside tire.  A limited-slip differential locks at a preset point to limit this difference in rotational speed providing maximum traction under accelleration and/or decelleration.
  • S: Install a high-performance clutch-type mechanical one-way limited-slip differential that provides positive lock torque only under accelleration.
  • P: Install a high-performance clutch-type mechanical 1.5-way limited-slip differential that provides stronger positive lock torque under accelleration than decelleration.  ADJUSTABLE
  • R: Install a race-spec two-way limited-slip differential that provides positive lock torque under accelleration and decelleration.  ADJUSTABLE
