Good job on these paints!

I am especially impressed with the plexiglass hood affect.

Do you do contract work?  I been known to swap tuning for painting should the need arise.  Some folks think I know how to tune  a car.  The same folks know for certain I can't paint a lick...  :-\

Blooze,

I have done contract work in the past.  Just let me know what you're looking for and I can try to replicate it.  Of the group you see I can't take credit for the "Snake" Viper and the Landy Challenger (purchased both off the AH).  Although the Landy Challenger wouldn't be that hard to do so I could whip one up for you if you need.

Swapping paint for a ride that handles sounds good to me.  I've got my Camaro and Challenger outrunning most of the new metal in the game (not hard to do since they start off with good base handling and just need some tweaking) and the GTO is getting there but there just isn't enough time in the day to tune the crap out of all the muscle.  Besides, I'm not that good at it.  I'd love to put a tune on my ZR-1 if you have anything like that.

You could send me a car to paint with your tune on it.  I'll save the tune, paint the car, and send it back to ya.  Let me know.

That sounds like a decent way to handle it.  I will update my MInc and ALS toons on the ZR-1 and shoot you a copy of them.

I am looking for a  Corvette GS paint that is along the same vein as this

http://www.muscle-inc.net/index.php/topic,171.0.html

as a part of this challenge

http://www.muscle-inc.net/index.php/topic,180.0.html

Not a dupe, but a replica... if you could use the company name "Guitar House of Tulsa" (Google them, (http://www.guitarhouseoftulsa.net/index.htm)they have a logo) and one of the Burgandy "special" pearl colour bases even better.

Say the word and hit me with an FR and I will ship you a fresh GS.  Which car do you prefer?  A BloozeToon on an ALS ZR-1 or GS or a B toon on a GS?

Was working on the design for your Corvette GS last night.  Nothing too elaborate mind you.  Got through about 75 layers on each side and hood.  I'd say I'm about 40% done.  With any luck will have a "1st Draft" done tonight for your review.  What number you want on it?

The Number 62 would be great.

I will have the the ZR-1 in the mail this afternoon.  It will be tuned to our ALS spec.

Thanks a bunch!

I shipped the ZR-1 out.  Our ALS (American Legend Series) spec calls for A-850 and < 400 Hp (the car must be able to enter the Semi-Pro 400 Hp event).  This one is running 397, so no problem.

It ranks out as my 4th best A car, but that is against some pretty stiff AWD competition.  You probably want to stay off Tsukuba and the likes with it, but it currently holds my top time on Sebring Short.  It ran a 56.8 on Atlanta Short which is pretty good there.

You want to shift the first 4 gears just past the red line, and the last two just before it.

Let me know what you think of it.

I shipped out your Vette last night.  With the exception of a couple of Goodyear decals the whole thing is custom.  Got your name above the door and under the Guitar House logo on the hood for a little personalized touch (...reads "House of Bloose" ...I was thinking you pronounce the name like "blues" ...hope I'm correct).  Anywho, I couldn't do a special burgandy paint job exactly like you wanted because they don't offer those colors in the vynals (sp?).....well, I'm pretty sure you can do it but I haven't worked out the details on how to make it look right.  Soooo, I went for the fade from black to burgandy.

If there is something you want changed or that doesn't appeal to your taste let me know and I can work on the changes.

I wanted everybody to see what an excellent job you did, especially on the "Guitar House" logo.  I only hope the tuning on the ZR-1 lives up even slightly to this paint job.

Modified Speeling and Spoilers added...

There is one slight problem - I can fix it.  But the name is spelled with a 'Z' instead of an 'S' - Blooze.

Excellent Job - thank you so much!
