I know, I know. I just reported my own post for moderation. I'll check the mod log later and clean this place up.

I am following this closely. I have a pretty quick 68 Fire-turd(its a term of endearment
) but it is a little sluggish in the corners and I can't really gain anything by powersliding it through. The 65 Mustang is a nice C car but it for me it kinda likes to Samba when you get into a hard Brake/Accel turn. I do have a 88 T/A that will slalom like an Olympic skier but falls on its face on the straight. I just wish that these people in the lobbies would realize that if you pick the Javelin you are gonna get hated on and booted. It is a fact of life. I love the Javelin (My Grandpa had one) but I can't use it either even though mine is modest.

Best of luck, Biggie. Several of us have tried and failed on this. I don't have ANYTHING in my garage that even holds a candle to the times that the Javelin puts up. Weird.

I got the 70s Escort pretty close. Then I got a wheel and things went off for a while there... Just been playing for fun since then.

I explored the Pinto fairly indepth this morning with some tinkering it may yield results. The New Alfa 155 I had hopes for but it was a bust.

Managed a faster lap around Cat Nat than the Javelin with the Volvo 240 Turbo. I don't think the Swedish Meatball has the grip to pull a faster time on Infineon, that's the track that started it all.

I probably will not be able to do much tinkering until the weekday. (Momma likes her weekend time!)

Volvo. Nice.
I may use the 240 as a "story mode" car in the FS Reboot.
False alarm. I meant the Saab 99.

I was torn between the Volvo and the Rally Saab but my affinity for RWD cars only left me one choice.
