Targa(Rally) Newfoundland.

Targa Newfoundland 2011 - Dodge Viper ACR - Five stages.

"...Join SRT CEO, Ralph Gilles, and co-driver, Jen Horsey, on day one[through five] of their adventure in a Dodge Viper ACR at Targa Newfoundland - a week-long, 2200km endurance rally event around the Canadian province...Formula Photographic Inc. produced daily videos from the event for driveSRT.com..."

Monday - Stage 1.
Tuesday - Stage 2.
Wednesday - Stage 3.
Thursday - Stage 4.
Friday - Stage 5.

Targa Newfoundland 2011 - The Sound of Music. WARNING - This is a ten minute video of Targa cars of every description(the American muscle sounds particularly good, as usual) braking for, navigating around and accelerating away from the same street corner. You've been forewarned!

Targa Newfoundland 2011 - Taming of the Squeal. This is a four minute video of Targa cars navigating a blind, uphill, lefthand corner. Some drivers managed better than others. Advance to 1:43, 1:56 and 3:01 to see some classic American muscle that we can enjoy in Forza Motorsport 4. A Subaru gets slideways at 3:11. And three Goodfellas get up close and personal at 3:44.

Targa Newfoundland 2010 - Marystown South Stage - 1969 BMW 2002. Four minute in-car video of a classic BMW!

Targa Newfoundland 2011 - Garnish Stage - SRT Dodge Challenger. Seven minute in-car video of Pacione Motorsport's Dodge SRT Challenger. Check your volume 15 seconds into the video, the wind/road noise gets a bit overwhelming.

Good 'ole, heavy metal...racing at Nürburgring! Courtesy of "Bridge To Gantry".

"...The Historic Marathon at the annual Oldtimer GP might not have the cachet of the 24 Hours or a VLN round, but it is still a proper motor race, with some excellent machinery and some well-known faces (such as Walter Rorhl and Stig Blomqvist, both of whom took part in this year's event). So, with two VLN races and the 24 Hours under my belt, I thought "What the hell- let's enter the Mustang and see how we get on". Now the "Stang is a bit of a beast, with not far short of 380 b.h.p. going through a toploader 'box to a live axle to some skinny historic-pattern rubber. Ron Simons of RSR shared the driving duties, and it was Ron who set our qualifying time which put us well up at the sharp end...."

Thanks for all the excellent videos Choccy!  Just started watching through them on my phone when it gets slow at work.  Can't wait to dig into those Targa on-boards.  That is one of the very few items on my bucket list, take one of my 7s out there one of these days.

Ferdinand Ice Festival 2012. Trust me, it's more motorsport oriented than it sounds.

The Nissan Juke-R is no joke.

Is that the car or the driver?  The higher center of gravity of the Juke makes me wonder . . .

I saw some other Videos showing the same sort of thing.  What on Earth for?  That is about the dumbest looking thing I ever saw to be done on purpose.  I had a Dodge Dart that did that on its own if you didn't keep the front Torsion Bars snugged up correctly.  It was hell on tires, as I imagine these fad-ish messes are.  And CVC joints!?!  I imagine those have to be replaced daily.
