I woke at 5:30 this morning.  I know 'cause I checked the clock to see if I had gotten enough sleep and if it would be okay to get up and get back to Forza.

I would say that Forza IV has more than adequately replaced its prececessor.  Will there be any dips back into Forza III.  Nope.

There were 25,786 new accounts registered between the hours of 1:00 AM and 5:30 AM this morning.   :o

I wonder when the head count will break 1 mil.  Shirley before the end of the month.

I like the Pediatrist Guy (PD).  I look forward to his comments on my driving.  Compliments please me.   Not finding his favor disappoints me and I immediately think of what I just did wrong and how I could do it better.  And at the end of the race, he cuts me a check.

It occurs to me that that could become a new measurable for fixed races.  Like the C Class No Am Tour race #1 on Road Atlanta Club.  Not only do you mark the fastest lap, and whether is is a certified time, but how big was the check you got from the PD?  The bigger the check, the better your technique.  I have noticed...
  • 4 turns are almost always followed by 1 turns.  Should I be paying more attention to the road?
  • I still haven figured out what constitutes a 4 Speed
  • ... or a 4 pass for that matter.
  • I get 1 turns and 1 drifts at the same time a lot...  having a tad of trouble with throttle control and having turned TCS off with the Muscle cars.  ABS too, if that matters...  goin' native.
  • I have no idea how the pay scale works.  I wonder what it would pay to hit every measurable on a 10 lap race, say...  Tsukuba?
  • He has nothing to say about drag races...

I have already settled it in my mind that I will not be completing the Career Events.  But as I look it over, I wonder just how much of it I will complete.  Specially GICheeze and his digestive problems when it comes to traveling...

I am torn between the Warehouse and the Mountain Pass as Homespace.  I like some of the views the Warehouse presents, but the other day I decided I need some air and switched it to the Mountain Pass.  Much better.  I will most likely use the Top Gear track for Dragster Outside type shots.  One would wonder what in the hell was this thing doing clear up here if I used the Mountain Pass...

I spent a portion of yesterday in the Blooze account driving the 97 Civic Type-R in the upgraded by the FUG.  It was pretty good, and took me a while to get a handle on what I would change about it to make it better.  Handling the upgrades in order to get Tunable parts will be the issue.  I seem to be using my Tuning Sheets as a storage device for the Parts list and a record of the Races I've run more than taking advantage of its calculators.

I am almost out of Coffee stuff...

You guys have a good morning.

:D $

Oh Hey!!  Do any of you guys know when the Race Coordinator starts handing better positions on the Grid?

  • I still haven figured out what constitutes a 4 Speed

4 Speed has happened to me when I get within a few mph of maximum speed for a car. Get fast enough the brake line is always on. I first saw it in a E-class Alfa GTA on infineon and then I took a Veyron to the Benchmark ring and did laps to get the 240mph achievement and ran up the 4 speeds until all the badges and titles were unlocked. I hate all the popups for new titles and badges, so I banged them out in a couple minutes.

4 Pass is a clean pass close enough to almost be trading paint. Do some of the Track Day events and you should rack up quite a few.

I've since shut off the indicators and don't worry about getting graded on my driving. I also figure if I ever get a perfect drift I'm doing something terribly wrong.

I think that should be a Badge and Title.  "Perfect Drift Record - 0"

My "Perfect Drift = 0" as of yet is unsullied...

Blooze, I need COFFEE! Fill'er up with Hi Test, too, none of that brown water they pass off as decaf.

They had me up in front of a local Rotary club at 6:00 this morning to give a speech. So, I shower and scrape the fuzz off my face at 4:00, get all my notes together, drive a little over an hour and get there right on time.

And then I found out my presentation wasn't appropriate for the setting! It was a disaster. Who knew the "rotary club" wasn't a bunch of Mazda owners?!!!!!!

So its the back porch now.  All this time I was looking for the old shop.  Seems I knew all along where to go and I just didn't follow my instincts.

Hope all is well in Forza-land.

I hate to be "that guy" and show my head around here after a long time and only when a new product is offered but what can I say other than Hi.  How's life, how's Forza treating you, how was it having to leave FM3 behind?  So many questions....

And you're down here too!!  It's good to see ya!  Things are pretty much as things are around here.  All the goin's on preceeding the release are encompassed in a few threads up in the lounge.

I'm really diggin' almost everything about the new game...

It is like awsummly immersive imo...

Leave FM what?   ;)   The new game blows the old one away IMO so wasn't hard at all.

It is good to be back.  I will warn you though, I do not have LIVE or a mic at the moment.  My entertainment budget it quite thin but I will be around in whatever capacity I can.
