The Blooze Collection
« on: September 12, 2007, 04:59:06 AM »
I got me a bunch of pretty neat buddies out there that can paint and take pity on my seriously challenged skills along those lines.   In all cases, I will try to credit the original painter.  If I forget to do so, jump my ass about it.

This first one was painted by WhiteShark - he supplied the initial tune.   I sort of modified it tho...  :-[  :D  like you're surprised.   This is the car that Helmakr used to run a sub 60 on Mugello Short.

A friend from back in the original xBox.com days JLudwig, now known as Secondary Sink painted this neat looking bug.  It makes a pretty decent B car.

This is another JLudwig Paint Job.  In case you can't tell.  He's career Navy.  Going through the big programs and going to be an officer.  We have the Naval Nuclear Power school in common in that reguard.

Anyhow, this little puppy is going to hit the tracks as an ALS ride - anybody want to join up?  See the World?

Here is a different view of the Car that Detrick 2006 painted for me.

The logo on the hood is a friend of mines' store here in Tulsa.  He is the Taylor guy in Tulsa...

Detrick did a heck of a job reproducing the Guitar House's logo.

Here is one I paid for.  The guy does a heck of a job.  I tried to chat him up about Forza but he was one of the Manufacturer types that was quitting the game citing "burn out" as his primary issue.  When he said he was done I asked him to sell me the Broncos Logo, but he wouldn't do it.  I thought that rather chicken shit, to put it bluntly.  If he is done with the game, what did he need to protect the logo for?

At any rate, I like having that paint job on that car.  It will be one of my over all favs in the game.

Blooze,

Check out my garage thread and you can see the latest iteration of the Corvette Challenge car a'la Dicks Sporting Goods.  I think you'll like it.

I entered it into the FM.net weekly livery design challenge so wish me luck.  None of my designs have done anything so far but I'm determined to get a Unicorn car if it kills me.

Don't feel bad Detrick, I've entered a couple of cars and not so much as an honorable mention.

Good Luck though.  If you win I'll have faith that its not rigged.
Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

Maybe it is rigged.  Everything I've done so far has been classic or modern muscle.  Maybe I need to paint up a couple of rice burners and have a chance......

I just wanted to say...

I have a bunch of cars that should be added to this list, but I am trying to be just a bit cognasent of IdleProcess' bandwidth.  Besides, a lot of the cars show up elsewhere on this forum.

Please believe me, I am not blowing smoke - these painted cars that have been gifted to me are among my most prized possessions, both real and virtual.  I do not hold them lightly.

I have representations of the work of so many of you.  Sharky, Fit4aKing, Spiny, HopLee, Bimmer, Tonka, Dirtdriver, J Ludwig, Detrick, Big Moo, and the unknown soul who gave me the Godfather GTO.  I surely hope I haven't left someone's name out - call me on it if I have.

When my Son-in-Law, actually, my son, my friend who is married to my daughter - son in law does him a diservice - anyhow, when he or my daughters show up, I always show them the cars.  "Look what a friend gave me," I say, "Look how good a job he did."

And I show them the car with as much, if not more, pride as I have when I show someone my PSA 10 Elway football cards...

So, if you have given me car and it isn't listed here - know that it is something other than appathy that has kept it from being displayed.  Far from it.  The cars painted by my friends and given to me are truly prized possessions.
