After reviewing the Blooze Chasers workbook at the beginning of August, I decided two things:
1) I wanted to be in the circuit top 1,000 by the end of the month
2) I wanted to try and knock 200,000 seconds off my overall circuit time
Seven days into the new month I'm sitting at #1,177 after trimming 87,008 seconds off my overall time. As of today, I need another 45,240 seconds to hit #999.
All is going along nicely....

The "vertical" idea has really made a difference for me, it's made the process of knocking off the lap times a bit more fun. Running lap after lap in F then E class cars was becoming a bit of a drag, so the change of pace has been refreshing. I've been combing this with track-by-track Gaposis. It is quite surprising how easy it is to spot a problem when you know roughly what lap time you should be putting in for a given class. Another big thumbs up to Blooze for developing another top idea.

Yesterday I built what is now my favourite A class car, the Ford GT. By luck or judgment

, my build coupled with a TonkaToon, has given me a fast car that doesn't give me any handling problems at all. I'm well pleased as this is an RWD car with 550hp on tap

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I found this out the other day. In a Multiplayer game if you set collision mode to always off on the rules page you will not have to worry about your lap time being decerted by the AI tailgating or driving into you.

Anyway, time to get back to knocking them seconds off....
