Thanks TJ!

It took me a while to find out why I had brought it up and when it was...

I think the time for this and others like it is way past - I wouldn't want to have to support it.

Where do you go inside of Excel to make certain cells read only and others not.  I never have been able to get a handle on how Excel manages that but you seem to have it working in that little form.

Thanks again
:D

I have Open Office on this little netbook but in Excel I think the key is to look for Protect Sheet.  It's been a while but if I recall you select the cells you want enterable, right click, and somewhere in the pop up menu you turn off cell protection.  Then in the main menu find Protect Sheet, turn it on, and all cells will turn to not enterable except the ones you un-protected.

Select the cells that you want to hide the formulas of. Then from the menu bar choose Format/Cells and go to the Protection tab. From there you need to select the Hidden box and then you'll need to protect that sheet (Tools/Protection/Protect Sheet) before it will work.

However, if you also have cells which you still want to allow users to enter data in you will need to select those and uncheck the Locked box under Format/Cells - Protection. It's sometimes useful to select the whole sheet and do this first before selecting the cells you want to hide the formulas of. It depends how much of a lock down you want on your work.

Hope that makes sense.

Of course we don't have Excel at work GRRR!!   >:(

If no one pops in to give you a run-through today I'll write it up tonight.  It isn't too difficult once you get the hang of it and you'll be off and running.
Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

Nope.  About all there is is this thread.  It helps if you're pretty well aquainted with Weight Bias tuning and the SWR concept.  There's a couple threads in here about that.
