I'm a slow tuner as well and I have run a few of my cars initially as builds only. The first time I ran a charger it was built and not tuned. My Camaro SS made its debut as built and F-dog tuned but not tested and it got me used to being a back marker. I still have a blast so don't let it take away from your fun if you don't set the fast time or win every race.
I look at the online aspect as a way for us all to get together and chit-chat, run a few laps and check out each others cars. And if your lucky you may even get to hear blooze make up a curse word or two, or finally find out what its like to get oldschooled. A full room is nice but even with only 4 of us it gets good.
My schedule permits racing after 9pm EST, and we were still running at 11:30 last week for anyone on the west coast. As far as the Europeans/Asians go, set up a time on a weekend and I'm sure anyone available will join.
