Well, we'll let them sort that out...

You know, I do believe that racing on line an entirely different skill set than hotlapping or racing the computer generated dummies. You might be thinking, "well no Duh Blooze, welcome to the party..." Well gimme a minute here. It isn't just the driving and adjusting to opponents that are somewhat flighty, not only due to being a people instead of a pile of on and offs, but becuase there is a bit of lag on the best of situations, and occassionaly, there's a lot of lag - (I got slapped plumb across the road, the ditch, and a small hay field into some tires last night by something I never seen last night...

) - it is that environment that takes getting aquainted with. The whole thing, the conversations, everything can take a while to get used to.
I'm really not very good at it. I get to watching the car's jitterbug in front of me and drive right through my braking points (are they different on line? It seems so) I think I hear my name, I try to concentrate on hearing, "Huh? - uh - oh! Crap!"
I need to more practice, but I will need to sneak up on it... like learning to drink scotch and think it is good...

It was fun racing with ya'll last night - I hope I wasn't too much in the way.
