Livery Design, Painter Artist Type Dood Needed...
« on: September 22, 2007, 09:55:35 AM »
I am in need of somebody who can do up a Livery on the VIS Integra.  They can either incorporate the VIS stuff, or wipe it out entire, it makes no matter.

Anyhow, we can talk about all that once we figure out how, who, and all that.

I can swap out CR or trade some tuning or whatever you would need to justify spending time on it.

I want a good one - I will be selling it (locked) with my A Class AWD tune.

Thanks...

Well, now that you mention it, a good flame thing that involved the cowling and front fenders...  a dark midnight blue base...  flames not too busy...  maybe a few of the high recognition mfg decals.

Hell, I don't know...  :-[

That's why I'm looking for help... I ain't no good at this stuff.

Blooze, I'm working on something for you right now.  It'll be free, and it comes with a free BBB decal!

Expect a gift soon-ish

You bet!  I pulled it off and saved it as a group to use on some of my other cars?

I returned your car to you (it probably landed on your head when you just now logged in.)  Consider it payment of some sort...

If you could drive it around a bit and give me your impression of it, I would appreciate it a great deal.

And you too Hop... I'd like to know what you think of the VIS as a short track Mongooser...

I thought you wanted a paint job so I painted it and sent it back already!

heehehe!

Anyhoo, carbon fiber hoods, meh.

save the paint, send it back and I'll drive it around a few tracks. I'll probably make it blue and add two GS style stripes over one of the fenders... hmmm

Ok, did you save the paint or do I need to send you the car you sent be back?

As for the tune, I was very impressed.  It's got a little understeer (that could just be my driving, though), and I'm thinking a small tire pressure change could fix that.

You can keep it...  I have the paint saved.

After you get used to the car you will find you can drive right thru those spots that where if feels like it pushing, just turn into it and hit the gas.

Blooze, if you want me to drive it you'll have to send it again. I thought you wanted paint, so I threw something on it and sent it back before your post explained that you wanted driving impressions.

LOL - sorry, I haven't even turned my xbox on today - been working on revising my timesheets and coming up with a way to track the two open ended challenges that we have going.

I'll take care of it quickly... :-[

I have the paint job saved - thanks!  You can keep the car if you'd like.

bimmer, I used your logo, just blew it up to cover the door and added a checkered flag behind it. Nice job on the BBB logo btw.

I really should check this forum more often...

Thanks man!  It wasn't that tricky, same basic principle as my JEi logos.
