They still have Sadie Hawkins dances?  Or does that mean something else now?

I adjusted the tune on my Chevelle beast to be almost drivable, lol, and took off 10 seconds, down to 9:01, with a one lap only run.  I don't think it meets the spec though, I think it's still stock tires.

If that's in D and it's up one width, that's exactly the spec!   In my experience, the Chevelle is less dominant in said spec, though.  If you're interested in S^4, the Charger is a better leaderboard choice, and the Z28 and Boss 'Stang are pretty competitive.  I like the Charger and Boss; the Z28 is more of a hotlapper in my hands for some reason.  We had a lot of fun running grip vs S^4 in D class a few times at Road Atlanta.  Somewhere on this site, there are pics with Detrick and myself in Mustangs and Bimmer and someone else in small FF cars.  It was also good for practicing clean racing; there was lots of passing and lots of being passed.

No it was on stock width too.  It was just a car I had from about a million years ago.  I haven't run any D class ring forever.  I tried a super grippy turbo 5 first but came in in like 9:30ish.  Then just grabbed this car.  A quick look over the tune and away I went.  I might try a width up on tires and see what happens or just try another old car in the garage.

Edit: Ended up doing neither.  I jumped back in the car as is to see how I could do on some other tracks.  Took down a lot of my old pbs.  I guess I learned something in the year or so since I last visited D class.
